In the Assembly debates, the opposition leader and other opposition deputies from all islands, including Moh\u00e9li, actively engage in questioning government proposals and presenting their own visions. On Moh\u00e9li\u2019s local stage, whichever party or coalition holds the minority in the Island Council similarly takes on the opposition role \u2013 scrutinizing the island government\u2019s decisions and representing divergent views from the community. The government of Moh\u00e9li respects the opposition\u2019s role as an essential component of democracy \u2013 ensuring that different perspectives are heard in governance.
