Each year, the Moh\u00e9li government releases its Budget Estimates \u2013 a detailed breakdown of expected revenues and planned expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year. These budget documents, prepared by the Ministry of Finance in collaboration with all ministries, are presented to the Island Assembly for review and then made public. Citizens and stakeholders can find the latest Annual Budget on the Reports page, which highlights key allocations (such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc.) and any new development projects. The budget summary is presented in an accessible format, including charts showing how funds are distributed to priority sectors. Alongside financial transparency, we also publish Official Addresses and speeches delivered by Moh\u00e9li\u2019s leadership. This includes the Governor\u2019s Annual Address to the island (often outlining the administration\u2019s achievements and plans, akin to a \u201cState of the Island\u201d speech), and any important addresses by the Governor during national events or local celebrations. For instance, the Governor\u2019s Independence Day speech or New Year\u2019s message to the population will be available for all to read. These addresses are important for keeping the public informed of the government\u2019s vision and responding to current challenges or events. Additionally, if Union-level dignitaries (such as the President of the Union or visiting ministers) deliver speeches in Moh\u00e9li, those transcripts might be shared in this section to ensure our residents stay informed about national matters. The Budget and Addresses section also archives past documents: you can review budgets and addresses from previous years to track Moh\u00e9li\u2019s progress and policy direction over time. By maintaining this repository, we hope to encourage citizen engagement \u2013 for example, community groups and NGOs can use budget information to align their efforts with government plans, and citizens can hold leaders accountable by referencing commitments made in official speeches.
