Mohéli shares national symbols with the Union of the Comoros while also proudly displaying its own regional emblem. The national flag of Comoros is a four-striped flag (yellow, white, red, blue) with a green chevron bearing a white crescent and four stars, each star representing one island (Mohéli, Grande Comore, Anjouan, and Mayotte) .
